| Subject: ~Charizard Review~ Mon Aug 15, 2011 9:42 am | |
| Ok guys today i will be reviewing Charizard. Well i know this pokemon is very well known everywhere. He is a favorite to many people so thats why he is my first review. This is a Flying/Fire type pokemon. There are only 2 other pokemon that are Flying/Fire and they're legendaries,so charizard is the only non-legendary Flying/Fire type pokemon out there.Charizard's base stats are very good compared to many pokemon. He has a great sp. attack and speed so he can deal some heavy damage with the right moves. His design is awesome i mean hes a flying lizard thing so who wouldnt think hes awesome. He has three weaknesses but his resistances out weigh his flaws. He can learn a vast array of move sets, but you are probably going to use him as an offense to get the heavy damage in there before he is destoryed by a move. The bad thing about charizard is probably his defense it can be raised with natures and iv and ev training but he is usually taken out by a supereffective move in the first turn.. So overall Charizard is a great pokemon to use in a team his power can take out pokemon most of the time, but his defense ensures that he wont last long in a battle. Charizard gets a well deserved 9/10. | |

| On my pokemon Fire red I evoled my charmelion into Charizard and then I saved and shut my game off and the next time I played fire red it said my file was corrupted. RIP Charizard. LOL.
After I made a new file I picked Bulbasaur but he was CRAP at battling and I gave up on him. He always missed and was slow and got 1hit KO'd alot.
Ive never trained any of the Squirtle family but I have to say in past experience my late Charizard came in handy alot. So I'm gonna say Charizard is best >:3

| Subject: ~Pikachu Review~ Tue Aug 16, 2011 1:53 am | |
| Okay well this is a pokemon everyone has heard of before. If you've played pokemon and you haven't heard of pikachu , then something is really wrong with you. Pikachu's design isn't very creative i mean its a mouse that looks like it was painted yellow and black. Now in battle there is really not alot that pikachu can do to be effective in a battle scenario. Even though he does evolve in to a better raichu we are only talking about pikachu here. His base stats are pretty good for a basic pokemon(300). His best trait is his speed. Pikachu is really fast , so he should be able to outspeed alot of other pokemon. There is a drawback though, Pikachu will be taken out by any move because of his horribles defense and special defense. Plus his attack wont be able to make a pokemon faint in one hit either. There is something that will make pikachu look like a suicide bomber. The light ball makes pikachus attacks even more powerful than they were before. He will be able to do some massive damage, but his puny defense will still ensure that will be knocked out. Overall pikachu is a good addition to your team if you have a light ball, but hes really not worth using any other times. I give pikachu a 8 out of 10. | |

| Woah cool! I <3 my Pikachu although I dont have a light ball so it normally gets 1hit KO'd, although using my Sweet Kiss, Attract (Optional) and Paralisis sometimes my Pikachu can actually KO pokes without getting KO'd. | |

| If Pikachu has low defense, why does Ash's Pikachu always doesn't get 1 hit KO? He's like dominating battles! | |

| Subject: ~Magikarp Review~ Wed Aug 17, 2011 1:37 am | |
| Well forum you were probably expecting this guy already. What can i say about magikarp that hasn't been said already.Personally i love this pokemon, but i have to rate him fairly like every other one. Magikarp has horrible base stats(200). The best thing about him is his speed and defense. His speed is pretty good if you maximize it,and his defense will be average if you try to maximize it as well. His low attack and special attack ensure that he won't do a lot of damage to his opponent, and the fact that he can only learn four moves isn't very good either. Now there is something that magikarp is awesome for and thats the baton pass strategy. Magikarp will be the destroyer of teams with this strategy, but it doesn't work 100% every time, it might backfire. Overall we all know magikarp isn't someone to keep in your team unless your planning to evolve him or use the baton pass strategy, but he will remane as one of my most favorite pokemon of all time. I give magikarp a 5.5 out of 10. | |

| So....Magikarp's move isn't really have lots of options, only four moves that Magikarp is stuck with. | |

Putting Pokemon in the Day Care doesn't improve EV stats, I don't know if you need EVs for Magikarp in the strategy =P

| This is one of the most threatening pokemon out there. With a high base stat of 540, he is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Since Gyarados's attack is 125 your probably going to make him a physical hitter. he doesnt learn alot of moves by leveling up, but he can learn a vast array of moves by TM. His defense and special defense are great for a pokemon like this. He is a heavy hitter and he has defenses that will make him last in battle, unless he gets hit be an electric type move because he has a 4x weakness to electric types and a 2x weakness to rock types. Since Gyarados has a low defense, his intimidate ability halves the attack of the opponents pokemon , which makes up for it. His dragon dance move also makes him even better, since it increases his attack and his speed. a Gyaradoes with dragon dance will really give you a run for your money. Overall Gyaradoes is a great pokemon to add to your team if you need a heavy hitter that will last a long time in battle. He only has two weaknesses and his intimidate means he wont be knocked out early in a battle. Gyarados gets a 9.4 out of 10. Thanks for reading and post your opinions about this review. | |
